Flooring has been the McAuliffe family trade for over fifty years. Adam McAuliffe grew up in the industry, learning it from his father Kevin — and in 2001 the two of them opened the doors at 379 Camberwell Road. Twenty-five years later, the third generation is on the floor. Harry joined the business in 2022 and Tom in 2024, working alongside Adam and our store manager Dean Roberts, who's been part of the team for two decades. Jo McAuliffe leads our marketing. Being family-owned isn't a marketing line for us, it's why we range differently. We carry the most premium selection in the Floorworld group, including exclusive wool ranges from Bremworth, because our customers in Camberwell, Hawthorn, Kew and Malvern renovate homes they plan to keep. When you buy from us, the person who quotes your job is the person who answers for it.

Adam has spent over 30 years in the industry before opening Camberwell Floorworld on Camberwell Road in 2001. Twenty-five years on, he's still hands-on in the showroom every day advising customers, overseeing installations, and making sure every job meets the standard he's spent a career building. A specialist in commercial projects, building & construction, Aged Care & retirement Villages, Hospitals and Healthcare, Schools and educational Facilities, Retail outlets, Offices and specialty projects.
Dean Roberts
